The Italian TPO Company offers six performances for primary school children and two for families, which are already sold out.

The Auditorio de Tenerife offers the children's dance show +Erba. A forest in the city. by the Italian company TPO, which specialises in this type of proposal. This activity starts with six performances for 560 schoolchildren, which began today (Wednesday 24) – coinciding with the celebration of International Education Day – and two for family audiences on Saturday (27). The tickets are already sold out.

The performances for schoolchildren have been offered for the first cycle of Primary School, taking part the schools Chamberí, Pérez Zamora, Prácticas Aneja, San Benito, Echeyde I, Santa María del Mar, Georgia Martín, Montessori, Las Chumberas, La Pared, San Agustín and Abona. The children come from the five municipalities of Granadilla, La Laguna, La Orotava, Los Realejos and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The show – recommended for those over 4 years of age – is provided free of charge to schools as part of the activities offered during the school year by the Educational and Social Area of the Auditorio de Tenerife.

The shows for schools take place today, tomorrow (Thursday 25) and Friday (26) in two performances: 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. On the other hand, on Saturday (27) there will be two family performances in two sessions: 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.

The show is set in a centrally planned space represented as a large empty room. Projections with interactive images alternate on two large white screens. At the end of the show, there will be a workshop to create bracelets with natural materials (flowers, seeds...) so that the young participants can take home a biodegradable souvenir to plant and make their plants grow.

The +Erba project is an interactive show with two dancers who create together with children an imaginary city. The 'architect' dancer observes the landscape and draws the city with houses and streets. The other dancer loves the earth and the insects; he draws grass and trees. The two characters move in an empty scene where projections on two large aligned screens evoke a room of wonder. Here their ideas, imagination and projects are drawn from movement and come to life.

The architect creates houses full of colour and light, the other dancer redesigns them by adding grass and trees. Slowly, an imaginary city grows by combining their different sensitivities. The new-born city becomes a living environment and new characters and new events are added.

The audience comes to colour and populate the city. Insects appear, the seasons change and the city gets bigger, busier and more complex. Their dream of a green city is coming true. But there is also a factory that grows and grows, scaring away insects, birds, and people and making greenery disappear. Together with the children, the dancers will design new space where nature will grow and where a tree concert can be expected.
