Yarin
The Auditorio de Tenerife is scheduling Yarin, a show by Jon Maya (founder of Kukai Dantza, 2017 National Dance Award) and Andrés Marín, 2022 National Dance Award. The show takes place in the stage box of the Symphony Hall.
Yarin is roots. Yarin is coming together. Yarin is a dialogue.
We encounter two men who are looking out from their roots, who are delving deeper into them as a way of interacting with their environment. They arrive with their origins and their essence; they present an encounter; they talk… The dialogue isn't always easy, it is built through listening, respect… Sometimes it brings us closer, sometimes it distances us, sometimes it stresses us...and also embraces us.
Yarin presents us with an intercultural gathering in which the Basque dancer (dantzari) Jon Maya and the Flamenco dancer (bailaor) Andrés Marín, accompanied by the live music of Julen Achiary, find one another through an honest dialogue, which shows us their differences and their desire to share a common path towards the future through those differences.
