This intimate voice-and-piano encounter with the Catalan communicator happens Wednesday 17 June at 7.30 p.m. in the Chamber Hall.

Next Wednesday (June 17) at 7.30 p.m., the Auditorio de Tenerife presents its last talk of the year with Ramón Gener in the Chamber Hall, focusing on the new Ópera de Tenerife season. The Catalan music presenter will share all the lyrical programming the Auditorio has lined up for the coming months. Gener has decided not to attend any further face-to-face engagements throughout the forthcoming season, as was the case in the previous three years, owing to other commitments.

Consequently, this final conference is of particular significance, especially as he will detail all the titles of the next season, including the pre-season with ‘Ópera en minúscula’, the seven season titles, and the chamber proposal, which will be held at Teatro Leal. The period for new Ópera de Tenerife subscriptions commences on 23 June, whereas single tickets will go on sale on 7 July.

Gener’s presentations cost €8 for general admission and just €5 for anyone under 30. Opera subscription holders receive a 50% discount, reducing their ticket price to €4. The tickets are available on the website www.auditoriodetenerife.com, at the auditorium’s box office or by dialling the phone number 902 317 327 from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Born in Barcelona, Ramón Gener has a degree in humanities and business studies. He began his musical education at the Higher Conservatoire of Music of the Liceu at the age of six. After several years of performing as a baritone, he transitioned to a new role as a music educator. He offers lectures on opera, classical music, and art, which have been featured on radio and television, both locally and internationally. Gener has published four books: Si Beethoven pudiera escucharme (2013), El amor te hará inmortal (2016), Beethoven, un músico sobre un mar de nubes (2020) and Historia de un piano (2024).
