Tuta
Synopsis
Auditorio de Tenerife proudly presents in La Salita, its new hall for theatrical performances, the Mexican theatrical troupe Los Colochos and their latest show titled Tuta, which draws on Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus.
Two simultaneous companies, one comprised of women and the other of men. Two simultaneous spaces in which the players interpret the same text at the same time. Spectators who move from one space to the other. A single theatrical work.
Tuta is one story told simultaneously in two wings of a prison: women’s and the men’s cell blocks.
Tuta, Chuy and René follow through their decisions to their ultimate consequences. What will you choose?
