On Saturday afternoon, the programme shifts to the Symphony Hall at the Auditorio de Tenerife for a major highlight of this year’s festival: Mellowing, performed by Dance On Ensemble, at 7:30 p.m. In this creation of Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos, the Berlin-based company will share with the public its insight into the intensity of the moment, generating underlying restlessness and ceaseless vibration that inevitably draws in spectators.

The last day of the current FAM edition starts at midday in La Salita hall with Calidoscópica, a performance by Sonia Gómez and Encarni Espallargas. The piece explores the lived experiences of both performers, addressing themes of mental health, creativity, and well-being. The performance weaves together different strands to prompt reflection on the idea of living with productive schizophrenia.

In the evening, at 7.30 p.m., Richard Mascherin will conclude the festival’s 15th anniversary in the Symphony Hall with the world premiere of his new indoor work, Abertura. The work, presented as ‘an exit from this world’, portrays a world in the throes of catastrophe. The dancers performing in this production are Lucía Montes, Richard Mascherin, Javier Mario Salcedo, Ibai Jimenez Gorostizu-Orkaiztegi, Angie Bustos, and Michela Lanteri.
