42º FIMC: Snarky Puppy & Metropole Orkest
Synopsis
Ganaron el Grammy hace casi una década al mejor álbum contemporáneo instrumental. Las míticas bandas de jazz Snarky Puppy (EEUU) y Metropole Orkest (Países Bajos), bajo la dirección de Jules Buckley, vuelven a unir fuerzas para un nuevo proyecto: ‘Somni’, que ve la luz a final de 2025, y que disfrutaremos en Canarias en febrero de 2026, como espectacular cierre del 42º FIMC #EnParalelo en ambos auditorios capitalinos. Promete ser un viaje musical inmersivo en el que se fusiona el sonido vibrante de Snarky Puppy con las ricas y cinematográficas orquestaciones de la Metropole.

The show is an immersive musical journey, in which the intricate and vibrant sound of Snarky Puppy merges with the rich and cinematic orchestrations of the Metropole Orkest, under the visionary direction of Jules Buckley. Audiences can expect to experience the latest chapter in the Snarky Puppy and Metropole Orkest story, written by bandleader and composer Michael League, a new work performed live by this unique combination of world-class musicians.
