Bodies of Water
Synopsis
As part of its Mapas programme, Auditorio de Tenerife presents Bodies of water, a show choreographed by Iván Pérez, by the company DTH-Dance Theatre Heidelberg.
Water comprises the greater part of our bodies and our planet. It is the origin of life and, at the same time, an increasingly fragile resource. In this new creation, Dance Theatre Heidelberg Art Director Iván Pérez explores the deep physical and emotional bond between human beings and this essential element.
Through a choreographic journey of great sensorial intensity, the work immerses itself in the transformative power of water, posing fundamental questions: Who are we in relation to water? What invisible connections give shape to our existence? How can bodies of water, for which the show is named, be used as sources of inspiration for movement and dance?
A world-class artistic team rounds out this performative experience: the enveloping, nuanced music of Rutger Zuydervelt, the visual universe created by set designer Yoko Seyama, and the fluid, organic costume design of Naomi Kean, whose creations accompany movements like a natural extension of the body. This is a show that invites spectators to feel, reflect and let themselves go.

Mapas season tickets
Auditorio de Tenerife offers two types of Mapas season tickets: one for all six shows in the program and one for three shows of your choice.
-Full Mapas Season Ticket (6 shows): €75
You can enjoy all six shows in the Mapas 2026 program, choosing the performance you want in cases where there is more than one.
-Partial Mapas Season Ticket (3 shows): €39
You can choose the three shows that most appeal to you and enjoy them at a reduced price with this package.
Tickets
Access to the hall is not permitted once the doors are closed for the event to begin.
Access is only allowed to those over five years of age.
