Ópera en minúscula (Small-format Opera) presents an encounter with the Brazilian composer João Guilherme Ripper (Rio de Janeiro, 1959), author of the Iberoamerican opera Domitila.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 7:00 pm in Teatro Leal, in the Ambigú café hall, with free admission until the venue reaches full capacity.

At this meeting, maestro Ripper will share with attendees the creative process behind Domitila, alongside a view on new working directions and perspectives related to Brazilian opera.

The encounter is designed as a close and enriching space to discover first-hand the vision of one of the leading composers in Iberoamerican lyric music.
