Synopsis

The Tenerife International Film Music Festival, FIMUCITÉ, celebrates its 20th anniversary in style.

On Thursday, July 16th, we will premiere John Williams Reimagined for the first time in Spain, produced by Robert Townson, the greatest film score producer in history.

Townson, with his profound knowledge of each composer invites the legendary John Williams to take us on a carefully curated and unique journey through, not only his most renowned scores, but also those gems that have not being performed live for decades. The special arrangements by Italian pianist Simone Pedroni, performed by himself, are joined by the masterful flute playing of Sara Andon and the cello playing of Cecilia Chan.

This trio format, hosted by Townson himself, takes a journey through films such as Star Wars, Schindler’s List, Memoirs of a Geisha, Far and Away, Harry Potter, Captain Hook, and many more.

John Williams Reimagined has the blessing and approval of John Williams himself: “Pianist Simone Pedroni, flutist Sara Andon, and cellist Cécilia Tsan have conceived, produced and recorded a new trio album of my music that brings me great joy. With their new arrangements and their particularly fine artistry, they have enhanced and elevated my music and I heartily recommend their recording to all who might enjoy this repertoire”.
