La pregunta sin respuesta
Synopsis
Some concerts seem to be more than just music and may be better described as moments held within the heart. Juanjo Mena, one of today’s most highly regarded conductors, guides the interpretation of this work through the exploration of essential mysteries that cannot be expressed through words alone. The evening will begin with Charles Ives’ The Unanswered Question and its ambivalent evocation of the urgent and the eternal. Next, the renowned and applauded Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, interpreted by guitarist Rafael Aguirre with serenity and luminosity. Last on the programme is Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, a composition that has been inspired and likened to an avalanche.
