The Umbilical Brothers, one of the best clown groups today, are coming to the Canary Islands for the first time. They blend amazing vocal and physical skills with theatre, clown and stand-up comedy, in a world where all rules are broken.

Rated as two of the 100 most creative people in show business according to Entertainment Weekly, David Collins and Shane Dundas have performed in 37 countries, including one year at the Off-Broadway with their show Thwak!, which earned them a nomination to the New York Drama Desk. In Australia, they won the Helpmann Award (Australia’s Tony) for Comedy Performance of the Year. At Edinburgh Festival they got the Edinburgh Critics’ Choice Award.

These Australian comic double act, who have been working since 1994, are landing now on Tenerife with a show that includes “the best and the worst” of their long career with The Best of the Worst of the Best of The Umbilical Brothers.

This performance is part of the programme of both Festival de Tenerife and the XII Festival Internacional Clownbaret FIC.
