Sara Lilu, vocals, is a young singer from Tenerife, a graduate from the Higher Conservatoire of the Liceu and she is considered to be one of the most talented voices in Canarian jazz. After arriving in Barcelona, she received the “Ferrer Salat” grant, one of the most prestigious and complete, which enabled her to study her degree in jazz singing which ended with excellent grades.
As a result of this, she has just presented her final project in Barcelona with a band led by her and formed by other talented jazz students from the school.
Canarias Jazz Showroom is giving her the chance to lead a band of great Canarian musicians from different generations, under the name CJS Reunion Sara Lilu Octet, with the intention of creating bonds and gradually making her professional project a reality.
