HAVANA VIBES

Music is one of the main values of any given culture. Indeed, we know it is the identity of the peoples. “Havana Vibes” is a musical project based on different musical varieties from diverse countries. It not only aims to be a musical itinerary but a life one too. Cuban, contemporary classical music, jazz and funk, among others are the styles interpreted, taking as a starting point the compositions by Croatian, Argentinian, Cuban and Canarian composers.

This small band is made up of four music professionals who will offer a 1 hour and 20 minute-journey across sounds through a vibraphone as solo instrument, piano, bass and drum.

The concert is based on percussion and within this great instrumental family, the vibraphone has a distinctive position as melodic support. This allows us to appreciate the different facets of the instrument as we go through different sounds, timbres and musical styles brought by “Havana Vibes”.
