Dance has always been part of the Canarias Jazz Showroom Festival, just like jazz and dance have been linked throughout history. In the past, the festival has included a concert at the Auditorio’s Hall for enthusiasts of swing dance, but this year’s festival will feature a concert that combines contemporary and traditional dance.
On this occasion, we will have the opportunity to enjoy our region’s best dance artists. Raquel Lucille and Jep Meléndez will be backed by the extraordinary musicians Fernando Angúlo on drums and Manuel Hernández on bass, along with a horn section. Together onstage, they will show us how well the two disciplines may be combined.
