He studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Santa Cruz de Tenerife with professors Antonio Sosa and Michael Kirby. Later he studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with Dame Thea King and Julian Farrell, finishing his studies at the Musik Akademie Basel with François Benda. During these years he also expanded his education with the clarinettist Joan Enric Lluna. He was a member of the Joven Orquesta Nacional de España and has collaborated with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the European Sinfonietta, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife and the Orquesta Nacional de España. Together with Esther Ropón and Javier Rodríguez, he has recorded works by Canarian composers. He currently teaches chamber music at the CSMC.
