Director of the Scherzo magazine. He is a photographer, filmmaker, promoter and music producer, as well as journalist, writer, librettist, translator and musicographer. As a filmmaker he has worked on several films under the direction Iván Zulueta, Montxo Armendáriz, Adolfo Arrieta and Günter Schwaiger, and in 2001 he directed the documentary film Aymara, produced by Elías Querejeta. As a music promoter, he founded the production and distribution company Diverdi in 1990. In 2013 he created the musical space La Quinta de Mahler. As a journalist he created the Diverdi magazine in 1992, as well as publishing essays and articles in the most important Spanish media. He is currently director of the magazine Scherzo. He has written the libretto for the opera Le Malentendu, by the Spanish-Argentinean composer Fabián Panisello. As a translator, he has translated the book Beethoven by Jan Swafford (Acantilado) and Wagner y el cine (Fórcola); Shortly El anilllo de la verdad will appear (Roger Scruton, Acantilado) and Haendel en Londres (Jane Glover, Antonio Machado Libros).
