The multi-award-winning fado singer LINA_ is back with a new and extraordinary piece that the German label Galileo Music launched worldwide on January 19, 2024. The title is LINA_ Fado Camões.
After being acclaimed by international critics for her work with Catalan producer Raül Refree, who received numerous European awards and has gone on international tours with more than 70 concerts, LINA_ is now debuting her new and ambitious solo work.
In this work, the poetry of one of the most notable Portuguese poets, Luís Vaz de Camões, is adapted to traditional fado and produced by the British Justin Adams (Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin, Tinariwen, Souad Massi), with arrangements by John Baggott (Massive Attack and Portishead) in a concert with live performances by Ianina Khmelik (piano and synthesisers) and Pedro Viana (Portuguese guitar), featuring videos by Collective of Two, lighting design by Tela Negra (Miguel Ramos), and live sound by Marco Silva. It's an event not to be missed.
