Needcompany is a performance group founded in 1986 by performers Jan Lauwers and Grace Ellen Barkey. Maarten Seghers has been a member of Needcompany since 2001. Lauwers, Barkey, and Seghers form the core of the company and are involved in all its artistic endeavours, which include theatre, dance, performance, visual art, writing, and more. Their creations are showcased on some of the most prestigious national and international stages.
