A native of La Laguna, Tenerife, he undertook studies in Western concert flute at the Professional Conservatoire of Tenerife and the Higher Music Conservatory of the Canary Islands. He subsequently refined his training in Paris with Professor Philippe Lesgourgues and the Creative School of Madrid with Patxi Pascual.
His professional experience encompasses both the classical genre and popular music, jazz and global music.
He has been a member of the Tenerife Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Classic Chamber Orchestra of the Canaries, the resident orchestra of FIMUCITÉ (Tenerife International Film Music Festival) and the Chamber Opera of the Canaries. He has also been part of the orchestra of the musicals production of Auditorio de Tenerife ‘Jesus Christ Superstar' and ‘Sunset Boulevard’, with Paloma San Basilio.
With his personal project, “Vientos de Salmor” (Winds of Salmor), devoted to the El Hierro flute, he has given several concerts all over the island, and he recently recorded his first album supported by the ICDC and the Council of El Hierro.
He was also a member of the group Los Sabandeños for 15 years, and he is a regular collaborator in many groups such as the Big Band de Canarias led by Kike Perdomo, with which he produced two albums and he has played at several festivals; with the guitarist David Minguillón; and the Cuban music group “Quimbao”.
