Likewise, he has conducted notable orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Staatskapelle Berlin, Dresdner Philharmonie, Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the most important Spanish symphony orchestras, such as OCNE, OSCyL, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, Filarmónica de Gran Canaria or the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, among others.
He has been the artistic director of the Teatro de la Maestranza of Seville, the Real Orquesta Sinfónica of Seville, the Orquesta Filarmónica of Gran Canaria, principal guest conductor of the Nürnberger Symphoniker and principal conductor of the Youth Orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival.
