Lecturer at the University of Leeds
He has a degree in chemistry from Imperial College London, a master’s degree in philosophy and a PhD in philosophy of science from King’s College London. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Leeds, and has worked previously at the Universities of Roehampton and Durham. His research focuses on the philosophy of physics, applied ethics and aesthetics, and he has had articles published in some of the most prestigious journals in philosophy. In the area of aesthetics, his lines of research include the philosophy of music and dance, the relationship between morality and art, questions relating to the interpretation of works of art and the author’s intention, as well as the aesthetics of David Hume and Immanuel Kant.
