TAK NARA
Auditorio de Tenerife offers the Contemporary Music Festival FMUC programme and presents the concert Dualismos by Tak Nara.
Dualismos (Dualisms) reflects this group's most versatile, fresh and energetic side. In this second album, Tak Nara Percussion Group offers a highly appealing repertoire of contemporary music featuring works by renowned composers nationwide.
Each of the selected pieces reflects a unique style, allowing the audience to enjoy a concert of contrasting sounds, created using a wide range of percussion instruments such as the marimba, vibraphone and different multipercussion instruments. Everyday objects are also included such as frying pans, cans and pieces of wood, and at certain moments they play a leading role and offer an innovative musical texture.
This musical work blends virtuosity, power, and energy. The figure of female artists and the dissemination of Spanish culture serve as the cornerstone of the show.
It was produced and performed by Andrea Domínguez and Verónica Cagigao. Dualismos showcases contemporary music written for percussion instruments appealingly and innovatively.
