Tenerife Film Choir

The Tenerife Film Choir is the resident choir of FIMUCITÉ, from the first edition of the festival in 2007 to the present day. The group, founded by the composer and director of the festival, Diego Navarro, and the soprano and choirmaster Cristina Farrais, consists of a selection of 40 members (ten per string), from among the best voices of the Tenerife choral scene, although the number of voices may vary depending on the project.

Throughout the history of the festival, this choral ensemble has performed and performed an enormous number of world premieres of symphonic-choral scores of outstanding soundtracks from different cinematographies, including the pieces that formed part of the official concert for the centenary of Universal Pictures or Dreamworks Animation, among many others.
