42º FIMC: Arcadi Volodos
Synopsis
Regresa un genio: Arcadi Volodos vuelve al Festival de Música de Canarias con un recital solo en los auditorios capitalinos. Desde su debut en Nueva York en 1996, el aclamado y multipremiado pianista ruso, afincado en España, ha llevado su espectacular virtuosismo a escenarios de todo el mundo, tanto acompañado de las más grandes orquestas y directores como en solitario.
Su repertorio incluye obras principales de Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Prokofiev y Ravel, junto con obras menos interpretadas de Mompou, Lecuona o Falla. En el 42º FIMC interpretará Chopin y Schubert, en una velada programada en colaboración con la Sociedad Filarmónica de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
