The venue has earned highest possible score for last four years
Auditorio de Tenerife has been selected for one of the Premio de Excelencia a la Transparencia Digital en Canarias X Aniversario awards bestowed by the Commissioner of Transparency and Access to Public Information. In the ‘bronze’ category, the award was given to the Auditorio de Tenerife for the last four years, during which it has obtained the highest possible score on the Canary Islands Transparency Index (ITCanarias) used by the commissioner.
The award was accepted by José Carlos Acha, the councillor for cultural affairs of the Tenerife Island Council and the Auditorio de Tenerife’s president, from transparency commissioner Noelia García in an event held in the Europe Hall of the Parliament of the Canary Islands. Also attending the ceremony were the venue’s manager, Daniel Cerezo, and its legal representatives, Pablo Molina and Eva Jerez.
The’ excellence in digital transparency in the Canary Islands’ award and the ‘seal of quality for digital transparency in the Canary Islands’ acknowledge the excellence and best practices in active advertising through transparency portals of the parties mentioned in Law 12/2014, of December 26, on transparency and access to public information. In this context, the commissioner has overseen, since 2015, an initiative that awards public and private entities that have repeatedly demonstrated a solid commitment to maintaining complete and up-to-date transparency portals available to citizens.
