Las pequeñas mudanzas
Synopsis
Auditorio de Tenerife presents in its La Salita hall the work Las pequeñas mudanzas, a contemporary dialogue inspired by Don Gil de las calzas verdes by Spanish dramatist Tirso de Molina and directed by Vanessa Espín.
The story begins as Valeria falls into her own void. After a painful breakup, she returns to her mother’s home at nearly 50, ashamed of being a loser. Her problems overwhelm her, and her ghosts clamour to voice her fears. She worries she is going mad like her aunt Paca, or will end up alone and disgraced like her mother. But Valeria refuses to resign. She seeks what broke in her life and dives into her past, searching for the father she barely knew. She hopes to mend the broken parts of her life. Is it too late? Who does she intend to be? On whom does her life depend?
