PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK ‘TAKE OFF’
Synopsis
Auditorio de Tenerife, together with Ediciones Antígona, is co-publishing the complete text of Take off [Nada de esto tuvo que haber ocurrido] (Take off – None of this should have happened) by Tenerife playwright Jose Padilla. The publication, part of the Malpaís collection, will be presented in the presence of Ediciones Antígona director Conchita Piña and the writer.
Beyond creation, writing, staging, and exhibition, the La Salita programme also covers archiving and distributing Take off. For this, the text has been released in a new editorial series specialising in opera, performing arts, and music. This project is supported by the Cabildo de Tenerife through the Auditorio de Tenerife and involves Ediciones Antígona, a renowned publisher of Spanish dramatic texts, now adding Padilla alongside Juan Mayorga, María Goiricelaya, and Alfredo Sanzol.
