Noches en los jardines de España
Synopsis
The Sinfónica de Tenerife proudly presents one of the crown jewels of Spanish music: Manuel Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain. Interpreted by pianist Evgeny Konnov, the work’s rich orchestral palette and vibrant melodies will transport listeners to lush Andalusian gardens. In addition, the programme dramatically contrasts Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man with Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain. The evening’s concert concludes with Beethoven’s lively Symphony No. 8, conducted by Rebecca Tong.
