Violinist Leticia Moreno and conductor Pablo González are featured in this programme, divided between the light of Aurora and the visions of Symphonie fantastique.
Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique is an explosion of creativity that forever changed the history of music. Through an unrestrained orchestra and a passion-filled narrative, Berlioz transformed the language of symphonic music into a thrilling, emotional journey: love, obsession, fever dreams and hallucinations are tangled together in a work that remains daring and unsettling.
The first interpretation of the evening is Aurora, composed by the Peruvian artist Jimmy López, one of the great innovators of modern orchestral music. The world premiere of this work in Tenerife presents the public with a display of light, textures, and dizzying rhythms that challenge us to reconsider our notions of contemporary musicality.
