El brote
Synopsis
For the second consecutive season, Auditorio de Tenerife presents El brote (The Outbreak), by La Compañía Criolla, at La Salita. This acclaimed Argentine production, which has toured internationally, has received numerous awards and widespread praise from critics and audiences. Friday’s opening performance will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
In El brote, an actor—played by Roberto Peloni—begins to see the boundaries between fiction and reality blur, to the point where he even starts to mistrust the person writing the events of his own life. What kind of character are we in this story?

Following its performances at the Teatro Auditorium in Mar del Plata, the production was declared of cultural interest by the General Pueyrredón Municipal Council.
