Canarias Jazz Showroom
Synopsis
Canarias Jazz Showroom returns to the Auditorio de Tenerife for two days with concerts of the contemporary jazz scene. Opening the festival is the Bernardo Parrilla Quintet.
The quintet’s distinctive sound brings together jazz, flamenco and Latin American music in a vibrant musical dialogue. Their compositions weave together the rhythms and expressive languages of these traditions, creating a rich sonic landscape and a journey across cultures. Shaped by the individuality of its members, each performance becomes a unique experience, fuelled by the spontaneity and creative energy of improvisation.
With Perocheando (2024), five musicians from diverse artistic backgrounds come together to celebrate and deepen the cultural exchange between Andalusia and Latin America. The quintet explores rhythms and musical traditions born of a dialogue between both regions of their shared cultural heritage.
