Synopsis

The Tenerife International Film Music Festival, FIMUCITÉ, celebrates its 20th anniversary in style on Sunday, July 19th with our FIMUCITÉ 20 RED CARPET GALA, conducted by Diego Navarro. The festival will have the honor of welcoming two leading figures in film music: John Corigliano and Stephen Warbeck. As a tribute to their extraordinary careers, the program will feature performances of Corigliano’s The Red Violin—Chaconne for Violin & Orchestra and Warbeck’s Shakespeare in Love suite, giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy these works in the presence of their creators.

We will take a journey through Oscar-winning and memorable scores from films such as: Ben-Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, E.T., Chariots of Fire, Dances with Wolves, Titanic, The Last Emperor, Dune, The Lord of the Rings, among many others.

Come and enjoy the celebration of two decades of FIMUCITÉ wearing your finest red carpet look, feel the flashes of the cameras, and raise a glass with us.

We will be joined by the Tenerife Film Choir, and we will soon reveal special guests, soloists and other surprises.

The city is hosting several large-scale events at the moment. Due to one of these, we cannot guarantee access to our car park on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th.

We have been trying since Thursday – the day we learnt of the road closure – to resolve this situation, but it has not been possible. We are continuing to try to find a solution to this situation, which is entirely unexpected and beyond the control of the Auditorio de Tenerife.
