Six Tenerife dancers will perform different dance styles relating to the street lamps that light roads, crossroads, squares or different spots in diverse areas on the island. The idea and its development are the work of six creative heads which will put them on during the Festival de Tenerife.

The artists will choose a street lamp in the areas chosen by the Festival de Tenerife team (La Laguna, Santa Cruz, suburbs, etc.), taking into account the artistic and technical features so that the piece can be successfully performed.

A street lamp, as a symbol or physical item, is the starting point of a new creation and each artist will contribute with their own point of view, to suit the space potential of each place. It is a piece for an urban setting, something the artistic creation must bear in mind.

This production is a joint venture of Festival de Tenerife and the association of movement artists Pie de Base, which has chosen the creators bearing in mind the diverse movement styles: hip-hop, circus, contemporary dance, classical dance, etc.
