This season-opener is a celebration of Mozart at his creative zenith. Three magnificent works showcase the gaiety, depth, and perfection that characterise the music he composed towards the end of his life. Symphonies No. 39 and 41 (the latter known as ‘the Jupiter Symphony’) are two symphonic masterpieces in which the Viennese genius combined elegance, humanity and astounding musical architecture.
Acclaimed violinist Renaud Capuçon will thrill the public with his interpretation of Concerto No. 3, a work abounding in freshness and virtuosity. Under the direction of conductor Andrea Marcon, well-known for his mastery of expressiveness and specialisation in the Baroque and classical repertoire, the Sinfónica de Tenerife will delight the public with a refined interpretation of this concerto full of luminosity and life. The programme promises to be an evening that will showcase the emotion and enlightenment of Mozart’s music.
