Alessio Cacciamani

Born in Rome in 1987, Alessio Cacciamani graduated in bassoon from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, then began to study as a singer and in 2013 he was admitted to Mozarteum in Salzburg where he graduated two years later. In 2014 he had his debut on stage as Commendatore in Don Giovanni at Salzburg Festival.

In the season 2015/16 he is a member of Basel Operastudio, where he performed several different roles, including some leading roles. In the same season he made his company debut with Opera di Roma in Nabucco at Terme di Caracalla and in Un ballo in Maschera at Teatro dell’Opera in Rome.

In 2017 he had his debut at Gran Teatre Liceu in Barcelona in Il viaggio a Reims (Don Prudenzio).

Some recent highlights are Colline in La bohème and Sparafucile in Rigoletto at Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Oroveso in Norma and Enrico VIII in Anna Bolena at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Wurm in Luisa Miller in Rennes, Nantes and Angers, the title role debut in Attila in Ancona, Ramfis in Aida at Savonlinna Festival and at Royal Opera Stockholm.
