Ángel Montero Herrero (Madrid, 1989). He teaches organ at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Arturo Soria” in Madrid and is the principal organist of Segovia Cathedral. He studied organ in Madrid (Centro Superior Katarina Gurska, 2016) with teacher Roberto Fresco, and got a special distinction at the end of his studies. He also did a Master in Organ Music Interpretation in Munich (Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, 2018) with teacher Bernhard Haas. He furthered his studies by attending different courses and masterclasses in Spain, Holland, Germany and Denmark, featuring outstanding international performers. He took First Prize at the IV Concurso Nacional de Jóvenes Intérpretes “Iohannes Baptista Cabanilles” 2017, in the city of Algemesí. Premio Andrés Segovia - José Miguel Ruiz Morales 2010 in the “Música en Compostela” Congress. He obtained his position of Organ teacher by sitting a public competition exam called by the Comunidad de Madrid in 2018. He is also busy as an organist and continuista for different instrumental and vocal ensembles.  He has given concerts in numerous places in Spain, as well as in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and Morocco.
