She studied at the Royal Academy of Music (London). Outstanding performances include War Requiem by Britten (Philharmonie, Berlin), Russian arias with the Philharmonia Baroque (San Francisco), Monteverdi’s operas on the John Eliot Gardiner world tour, Thomas Adès’ Life Story at the White Light Festival (Lincoln Center, New York), and the Bach cantatas with Les Violons du Roi (Montreal). Her appearances on the BBC Proms include performances with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Opera roles: Paride/Paride ed Elena and Iphigenie de Gluck and in Iphigenie in Tauride (Nürnberg Internationale Gluck Festspiele) Katherine Dee/Damon Albarn's Dr Dee (English National Opera), Emira/Siroe and Rosmene and in Imeneo de Handel (Göttingen Händel Festspiele), Bersi/Andrea Chenier (Opera North), and Ilia/Idomeneo (Birmingham Opera).
