Aymée Nuviola "La Sonera del Mundo" is a singer, musician, composer and actress. She is a multi-Grammy©-winner. Like the music of her native island, Cuba, she embodies that magical mixture of musical genres. She was born in Havana, Cuba, into a family of musicians. Some of her earliest memories are at the piano, working on melodies between lessons. Later, as she became a classically trained pianist and composer at Cuba's leading music academy, the Manuel Samuell Conservatory, she recalls her fascination with all styles,  from Debussy to Bossa Nova. Currently, her sound is heavily influenced by classical music, American jazz, Bossa Nova, Cuban son, bolero and feeling.

Aymée is known as "La Sonera Del Mundo" and is one of the founders of the "Timba" genre. She was the first woman to lead a "Timba" band worldwide. Aymée has also had the honour of working with leading music industry icons.

In 2019, she won the Grammy plus a Latin Grammy nomination with her album "Un viaje por la música cubana" (A journey through Cuban music), a project showcasing traditional Cuban music from different eras and genres. In 2020, she was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Latin Jazz Album" 'Viento y Tiempo Live at Blue Note', Tokyo with the greatest of all times: Gonzalo Rubalcaba.
