Born in South Korea, the young violinist performs as a soloist with many of the world’s many symphony orchestras and gives performances in the most prestigious venues and festivals. She began studying this instrument at the age of five when her family moved to Seoul in order for her to attend the Yewon Arts School. Since then, she has obtained different prizes in over a dozen international violin competitions, many of them globally renowned, such as the awards of ARD, the Tchaikovsky, the Queen Elisabeth, the Jean Sibeliuis, the Joseph Joachim Hannover and the Montreal Award. Likewise, she received the 2018 Young Artist Award from the Korean Ministry of Culture, and in 2019 from the Korean Music Association. In 2020, she received the Grium Artists Award from the Foundation Academia Platonica.
She has an album on the market with the maestro Jacek Kaspszyk and the Warsaw Philharmonic. A few months ago she signed an exclusive contract in Berlin with the label Deutsche Grammaphone.
