Carlos Meneses Trio was formed in 2020, after a few prior years spent choosing the musicians who finally form the group today: Federico Lechner and Daniel González.
They have already recorded 2 albums together, Live at CAAM (2021) y Like one (2022), and have performed on different occasions: Músicas Paralelas, at the MAPFRE Foundation Guanarteme and at the Canaries International Jazz & Más Festival in 2022. The last album, Like one, released under the label Rock CD, was recorded at the Auditorium of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) on 21 April 2022, and involved a cast of professionals who make it a work that marks a turning point in the musical career of the trio (Andrés Vázquez Archdale, La Rampa, Laerato Studios, Noboru Takahashi, among others).
In 2022, the performances increased, also adding attendance at national and international showcases (Jazz I am in Barcelona, Jazzahead in Bremen, So What Next Fest in the Netherlands).
