Conductor

Conductor of the Murcia Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the Girona Youth Orchestra, Associate Conductor of the Vigo430 Orchestra, and Resident Assistant Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain. Finalist in the Berlin Philharmonic's Assistant Conductor and Kirill Petrenko Competition, winner of three Conducting Competitions in Spain, and semi-finalist in the Guido Cantelli Conducting Competition in Italy.

Rubio has led various orchestras such as the National Orchestra of Spain, the Spanish National Radio and TV (RTVE), the orchestras of Castile and León, Granada, the symphony orchestras of Malaga, Gran Canaria, Valencia, Extremadura, Murcia, Antalya Devlet (Turkey), the Philharmonic Orchestra of Oviedo, the orchestras of Elche, Menorca, as well as the Youth Orchestra of Barcelona, the Youth Orchestra of Castellón and the Federal Orchestra of the Valencian Community. Likewise, she acted as the Assistant Conductor for the Valencia Orchestra, with Erik Nielsen and Lucas Macías at the Spanish Youth Orchestra (JONDE) and in various opera productions.

Isabel Rubio was also a member of the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Belgium, and the Murcia Regional Symphony Orchestra. She has conducted at the Pärnu Music Festival in Estonia, the Cuenca Religious Music Week, the Organ Festival in Lugo, the Valencia Orchestra Composition Meetings, the Ourearte Music Fest in Portugal, the CullerArts Violin Competition in Cullera and the Malaga Film Music Festival.
