He began his studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Tenerife and later received a scholarship to complete his postgraduate and master training at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland with Maximiliano Martín, where he won prizes at RSAMD Trust and the Governor Soloist Competition, as well as the Mary D. Adams Prize. He has collaborated with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony, Northern Symphony, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Asia-Pacific Union Orchestra and the India Symphony Orchestra. He has performed at Musikverien (Vienna), Royal Albert Hall (London), Shanghai Concert Hall (China), Performing Art Center (Beijing) and BBC Proms (London). He is regularly invited to play with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, Macao Orchestra (China), Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Orquesta Sinfónica Verum, Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia, and the Banda Municipal de Madrid. He is also a member of the Joven Orquesta de Canarias.
