The members of the Sharon Fridman Company, rooted in their dedication to contemporary dance, have developed a unique form of body language, Práctica_INA, based on the contact technique. Their commitment has been acknowledged with numerous prestigious awards and critical acclaim, including the Max for Best Show for Free Fall in 2015, the Max for Best Choreography for Erritu in 2019, and the First Prize and Audience Award for Hasta dónde...? at the Burgos-New York Competition (2011), among others. Since 2018, the company has been an integral part of the Francisco Rabal de Pinto Theatre (Madrid), engaging in projects with the community and presenting their works. Notable among their recent creations are Dosis de paraíso (2020), Europa, co-produced by Teatro Español (2023), and Go Figure, co-produced by Festival Oriente Occidente and Mash Dance House (2023).
Sharon Fridman also collaborates with several organisations as a guest choreographer, artistic director and lighting designer, which has resulted in the works Crudo equilibrio, created for the L'Explose Company, Equilibrio, Foundation Espacio Creativo (Panama), Corazón de carne, Ka’et Ensemble (Israel), Jondo, Eduardo Guerrero Company (Spain), Yarin, Kukai Dantza (Spain), Jerusalem, Theater Bielefeld (Germany), and Berro, Nova Galega de Danza (Spain).
