Born in London, Tristan Hambleton studied at St John’s College Cambridge University, Heidelberg Universität and the Royal Academy of Music London. Tristan has performed with orchestras such as The Hallé, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in venues including The Wigmore Hall, Auditorium de Bordeaux and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Recent and future engagements include: Festival d’Aix-en-Provence Mozart Residency, a tour of Sweden with Schubert’s Winterreise, performances of Purcell’s The Indian Queen at Operá de Lille and Le Concert d'Astree at the Théâtre de Caen, both with Emmanuel Haïm; Pilatus in Bach’s St John’s Passion at the Elbphilaharmonie Hamburg, Tom in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera with David Pountney and Carlo Rizzi for WNO, and the Marchese d’Obigny in La Traviata for Opéra de Bordeaux.
