Elisabet Gelabert and Inma Nieto are two actresses from the first graduation years of La Abadía Centre of Studies, who joined the cast of Entremeses in 1996 directed by José Luis Gómez and Rosario Ruiz Rodgers. Now, they are presenting a stage show as creators, using Shakespeare’s Richard III as a dramatic catalyst to talk about the profession, the creative process of an actress and the relationship with the stage director.
Inma Nieto holds a degree from the Royal School of Dramatic Art in Madrid. She pursued further training at the Teatro de la Abadía and belongs to its second graduating class of actors.
She has worked in film and television, although she has mainly worked in theatre, directing and especially performing. She has been directed by Iñaki Rikarte, Paco de la Zaranda, José Luis Gómez, Gerardo Vera, Ernesto Caballero, Hansgünther Heyne, Luis Miguel Cintra, Roberto Ciulli, Laila Ripoll, Salva Bolta, Dan Jemmet …among others.

Also, she has starred in or performed in titles such as Supernormales, You Have Turned My Mourning Into Dancing, My Italian Movie, Our Lady of the Clouds, Secret Vengeance for Secret Insult, The Phantom Lady, An Enemy of the People, Hedda Gabler, Macbeth, The Hair of Absalom… For years, she has combined her acting work with teaching.
Elisabet Gelabert is an actress from Madrid who trained at the Madrid School of Classical Theatre and pursued further training at the Teatro de la Abadía alongside José Luis Gómez, with whom she has worked on several shows.

Alongside her stage presence, Elisabet has played roles in film and television for more than 20 years. She has collaborated on titles such as: Take My Eyes, Magical Girl, Giants and The Furies. Elite and Money Heist, Muted (Netflix), Wounds (Atresmedia player), Madres (Amazon Prime), Isabel, The Heirs, and The Commissioner, are some of the series that she has performed for platforms and television. She was nominated for Best New Actress at the Goya Awards for Take My Eyes and she won Best Supporting Theatre Actress for Summer Tourists, from the Actors’ Union. At present, she continues combining film and theatre, with several releases coming soon. A feature film starring her: (A Large Journey) and a Netflix series (Muted) and performances in Mefisto for Ever at the Teatro Fernán Gómez in Madrid.
